Repeat After Me--There is no egg fairy

Today the LA Times has this piece which highlights a new stem cell ethical issue that has emerged. Scientist have a bottleneck. They are ready to go on the research but they don't have the eggs they need. What planet are they on? A new ethical issue? For years, we have been highlighting the concern that in order for this research to move forward, scientists need eggs, fresh, grade A, highquality eggs--and lots of them! Robert Lanza, of ACT, who was publically taken to the woodshed last week by Senator Arlen Specter says this, " "We need to make a decision: Do you want the research to proceed or not?" Come on ladies. What do you say?
